It pains us here at to report this story… On Tuesday night, reports surfaced over social media that Malik Isaac Taylor aka Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest passed away at the young age of 45 years old. When the first tweets appeared, we hesitated posting anything due to the number of unconfirmed, untrue, hoax deaths we’ve seen in social media in previous years but alas, this one unfortunately turned out to be true. At the time of writing, information is still scarce with no official statements being issued by Taylor’s family. Baltimore Ravens Tray Walker Dies From Dirt Bike Accident Injuries

On Friday, Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker succumbed to injuries sustained from a dirt-bike accident in Liberty City, Florida. He was only 23 years old. According to Miami-Dade Police Department press release, Walker was riding his dirt bike just  before 8PM ET when he collided in an intersection with an SUV. He was then transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami in critical condition before succumbing to major head trauma injuries. It’s been reported that Walker was not wearing a helmet at the time of accident. After the accident, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh wrote an open letter to the Ravens team asking the players to pray for Walker and to be mindful of their actions off the field….

Denise Matthews, the singer, model and actress known as Vanity who toured with Prince in the 1980s died on Monday in Fremont, Calif at the age of 57. Her death with confirmed by her sister Renay Matthews who cited years of health problems related to her kidneys for her passing. RIP Maurice White: Earth, Wind & Fire Founder Dead at 74

Earth, Wind & Fire founder Maurice White, died Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles, according to a statement from his brother Verdine said. White was suffering from Parkinson’s Disease. “My brother, hero and best friend Maurice White passed away peacefully last night in his sleep,” Verdine White told The Associated Press on Thursday. “While the world has lost another great musician and legend, our family asks that our privacy is respected as we start what will be a very difficult and life changing transition in our lives. RIP David Bowie (1947 – 2016)

According to a post on his official artist website, singer, songwriter David Bowie, passed away Monday after an 18 month battle with cancer. Known for hits “Let’s Dance” and “Under Pressure,” Bowie spent nearly four decades as an audience favorite releasing his latest studio album Blackstar was released a mere two days before his death. RIP David. We’ll keep on dancing.

LOS ANGELES,  CA – Natalie Cole, the Grammy award winner and daughter of Nat “King” Cole Natalie Cole, died on Thursday in Los Angeles at the age of 65. According to reports the “Unforgettable” singer, a duet with her father, died at Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles from complications brought on by ongoing health issues, her family said in a statement. “Natalie fought a fierce, courageous battle, dying how she lived … with dignity, strength and honor. Former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland died in Minnesota Thursday. He “passed away in his sleep while on a tour stop,” according to a statement on his Facebook page. Weiland was 48 years old. In the after math of his passing, former band mates Robert, Eric, Dean took to Facebook to express their condolences.

NBA icon Moses Malone, “the Chairman of the Boards”, passed away during the weekend Norfolk, VA. He was 60 years old. In honor of Malone, who lead the Philadelphia 76ers to NBA championship in 1983, enjoy some of his career highlights. RIP

Before tonight’s episode of Raw, the WWE joined forces to honor life and career of one of the most iconic Superstars in history, WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. Piper died from cardiac arrest in his sleep at his home in Hollywood last week.
