Invicta 10 Recap: Tiburcio Upsets Waterson To Become Champ

Returning to UFC Fight Pass for the third time and making their Texas debut at the Arena Theater in Houston, Invicta Fighting Championship presented fans with their tenth installment of fights. Headlining the events, Michelle Waterson took center stage making her second atomweight title defense in three months against relative unknown Herica Tiburcio of Brazil. As action commenced, the champ displayed signs of trouble early on as Tiburcio landed a blow that left Waterson’s left eye swollen shut after the first round. Despite the injury, she continued to battle on.
