Canelo Says it Was His ‘Mistake’ He Didn’t Know the Risks of Eating Mexican Meat

Canelo Alvarez says he made a mistake. Breaking what has been largely radio silence since the announcement of the rematch against Gennady Golovkin on September 15, Alvarez told ESPN he didn’t know the risks of eating meat in Mexico and as a result of this experience has given up meat completely. “I don’t want to get anyone else involved. I didn’t do anything to try to enhance my performance, I would never do anything like that. It was a mistake…

The Fab Five

Las Vegas brought out all types of highs and lows. If you’re a boxing fan, Mexican Independence Day weekend was the equivalent of boxing heaven. I wonder if heaven has a boxing ring? If Tupac thinks heaven has a ghetto, I can ask. As the afterglow of an exciting weekend of fights comes to an end, I got to thinking, who am I ready to see fight right now? The withdrawal period is something fierce. Here’s my current fab five: 1. Adrien Broner (Super Featherweight, but moving up)           Can someone get me an interview with this guy? His out of the ring antics are nearly as entertaining as his in…
