Lakers Get 1st Pre-Season Win

It’s a miracle! In pre-season action, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 104-95.

In what pundits (and fans) have already predicted to be a bleak and miserable season, the Lake Show started off on the right foot by earning their first pre-season victory since 2010.

Playing at the Citizen’s Bank Arena in Ontario, Nick Young scored 17 points in 19 minutes, returning Laker Jordan Farmar contributed 12 points and 7 assists while Xavier Henry was on fire off the bench to add 29 points to propel the Lakers over the Warriors.

Meanwhile we lay and wait for Kobe to return. Bryant took off for Germany to have some super bionical knee enhancement something or other. He’s just napping in his cryogenic chamber, he’ll be fine.

The Lakers have a LONG, hard season ahead of them but we have to appreciate these glimmers of sunshine while we can.
