For fans anxiously awaiting the heavyweight debut of undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk will have to wait a little bit longer.

CBS Sports reported on Tuesday that Usyk has withdrawn from a scheduled May 25 showdown against Carlos Takam of France due to injury. Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas made the announcement via Twitter.

The card was to include recent DAZN signee Devin Haney vs. Antonio Moran and a title fight between women’s super lightweight champion Jessica McCaskill vs Anahi Ester Sanchez.

No word if the card will continue without Usyk according to Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing.
