If you were eagerly awaiting the announcement of Manny Pacquiao’s next, and potentially final opponent, you’ll have to wait a little while longer.

According to his promoter Bob Arum, Pacquiao was expected to make a selection on Friday  DSC_1779during the Metro PCS Friday Night Knockouts telecast on TruTv but according to a story by ESPN, the announcement won’t be happening as Pacquiao can’t decide who he wants to face. The delay announcement came by way of Arum spokesperson Fred Sternburg on Thursday.

“I was asked to tell you on Bob’s behalf that, unfortunately, Top Rank will not have an announcement on truTV as originally planned as Manny is not ready to make a decision on his opponent yet,” Sternburg said.

WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley was expected to be the named opponent to complete a trilogy of fights where Bradley was the victor and Pacquiao pulled ahead in second. Also in the running Terrence Crawford and Amir Khan.

No word of a new announcement date at this time.
